I live in hurricane country. For ease of mind, I have several of these WD-Easystore external hard drives. I love them! They are easy to use and transport. I have been backing up my many pictures and copying my DVD's to them. I highly recommend this product!

I’m in love with the fact that I can buy 10tb for under 200. No more having to spend similar numbers on Xbox branded external hard drives. 10,000 gigs for games. It’s pretty handy. What’s to stop you from pairing two of these to your Xbox or ps4.

I love the price for this much storage. So far so good, no issues with it dying out fairly early on like some other products. I use this for movie files in my household server setup and it has performed well.

I download a lot of movies, so I need lots of storage space on my computer, but I do not want to overload my main hard drive. So, I ordered this good size external drive. I would have given it a solid five star if it had not been for a problem getting my computer to recognize the space on it. I had to make a support call with the manufacturer, but eventually I got it up and running.

This drive is great for backing up important documents and photos. Not to mention that the large capacity for the price is a no brainer! usb 3 speeds are fast even when copying large files. Will buy more again once this is full!

I am using this for my 4K UHD bluray collection. In all honesty you could probably get about 130 to 150 full 4k blurays on here (each being anywhere between 50 and 80gb) so I am satisfied with my 50 or so blurays I currently own.

Great price for a backup solution. I have at least two backups so I found this drive worth it. When you lose everything, you'd pay a lot for your data back. Why not spend a little now and save a lot of worry when disaster strikes?

Works perfectly - like all the other WD external drives I’ve owned (about 10 over 20 years). Good size so I consolidated a bunch of the old ones for repurposing those for other projects. Don’t cheap out. Get this one. You won’t regret it.

Drive works as advertised. Used it to back up my hard drive on two occasions. Haven't tried restoring anything yet. Of course that is a function of my backup software as well as the storage device. Device has plenty of room for backups.

Great value for this 10TB external hard drive. I get some good speeds over USB 3.0 with this drive. I am using it to store all of my pictures and media to save room on my computer. Highly recommended!

Affordable way to store a lot of video files. It's been reliable and I have bought 5 of this for archiving a lot of video files. Highly recommend for someone that needs larger file storage.

with this I have two hard drives it is fast I use it to store souvenir movies so when you want to see them you don't have to go to netflix, it goes well with the netgear rax12 router so I can see the movies on any devices

this is the super back up got this on a great deal the big difference with the easy storage is that it doesn't have encryption so if you need that this not the hard drive other than that a lot of storage for the price.

I was using this as a backup drive for photos and I had two large files to download to this drive. The drive operates very quietly and the speed is maintained through out the download.

If you want to backup files to drive and put it aside, then this is an excellent choice. It is plug/play for Windows. It is reasonably fast. However, do not plan to use this for continuous store/retrieve, it can be slow.

Bought this to do some backups for Os . After testing the drive,to make sure of health and that it was operating as describe proceeded to back up Os and and few pictures. The backups were both restored to another drive and very easily.

Lots of space! Easy to hook up, or even take out of the case to use internal.

It's been reliable so far, but the seek times are just a little higher than what I'd like (might be my PC issue, but it is only when you first access data on the drive). The price point can't be beat though.

I got this in the assumption you get 10tb... But you don't, you get 9.1 tb. The drive works well, it quickly transfers files for back up and it is a plug and play external hard drive, it just sucks its not as advertised and is not a true 10tb. That 1tb is a lot to lose and it loses its value for that loss.
