Excellent drive for the money. I use it to store my Plex media and no issues to date. I will be getting a second one when it goes on sale again.

I bought this product as a backup for livestream videos my church has been creating during COVD-19. I believe it is a great product. I have another one as well that is 4TB. This one is a lot louder than my 4TB one and also takes more time to load up. Once it is loaded it works flawlessly.

These drives are basically Ultrastar He 5400rpm drives and are an excellent bargain whether you shuck them or do use them as external backup drives. Remember, it's not backed up unless you have more then 1 copy of it on different devices. I bought 2 of these to have 2 backup copies.

Got this for a fantastic price and is a great storage device. If you can get it for a reasonable price, it's really nice to have.

This is a great drive for storing recorded tv shows and movies. Using this as a backup to two other drives. No problems or issues with this drive. Easy to setup and use.

This drive provides so much space for the low price it was too good a deal to pass up. The 3.0 transfer rate gets copying files done very quickly. Excellent product.

Love this little drive so far. It replaced a 2TB drive in my unRAID storage and I'm excited to fill it right up! Temperatures have been good without the enclosure so far.

So far so good! The only con for this particular EHD is that it is a little nosy compared to my Seagate HD. It's a little clicky but after some research, I think that's the common experience for users of this EHD. Otherwise, it's a good EHD and you can't beat the price.

,,hardware encryption is missing. I did not realize until I bought it. Did not want to return it just because of my mistake in not reading the specs carefully. The My book version has the encryption feature. We have to very careful in handling this, a slight drop can ruin the disk.

Easy to use and had no problems while backing up 8 TB NAS drive. I would like to know what drive is enclosed in EasyStore versus a My Book drive.

Bought this up for our home cpu. This thing rocks and saves space on our cpu. I highly recommend using this one. Easy set up and it’s a great investment.

Great external hard drive. I use it for backing up important files from my desktop PC. I have always used Western Digital products and have not had nay problems.

I bought this to create a larger (yet smaller) backup for my computer. I had a number of smaller drives that I was able to drop onto this one and save all that space.

This is an amazing deal when you get it on sale. 10GB for $159. I got this for my NAS and it was been great so far. Speed is what I expected and hasn't failed yet.

Any of WD easystore drives are excellent: I have 8TB, 10TB, 12TB, 14TB. I like them all, but more space is better.

This external storage is more than enough for anyone in my opinion as long as you’re not downloading 4K then this should last you for a long time
