This is my second one of these. I bought it because like the value, the storage capacity, and the durability of WD

I use it with movies that I own and copy to my computer for use with a plex server and has worked perfectly even with full 4K blu ray rips of movies.

I've just bought my 8th drive, each of them i've shucked to put into a Plex server. The first 3 i bought were WD red's, the ones i've bought in the last year have all been white labels, but when you look online, you'll find the specs are the same as the WD red's. Even if you don't want to shuck the drives, they are amazing value, super reliable, I've recommended them to friends and family.

Perfect for keeping needed files backed up in case of onboard hard disk failure.

Seems reliable and fast enough. I stripped one down to use in a NAS and these are the white drives inside which sometimes require covering a pin to connect directly. I wish they just sold the drives outside the case (for less than inside it)

Small, compact, quiet, hard drive. I use it as a DVR. Record everything I want without paying rental fees.

Excellent drive for storing photos and videos. You can do even some post production if the the storage is under 40% full.

Grab this great deal while you can. A 10TB at this price is unheard of. I have not had any issues with the device at all.

Bought this drive to replace two, smaller, aging HDDs. Works flawlessly with my new Mac computer. This thing has such massive storage capacity, so partitioned into three separate drives - one for Time-machine backups, one for Photos and one for music! Now have only one drive on my desk instead of two! Highly recommend this product.

I waited for the drive to go on sale and got it at a great price, works as expected with lots of room for my recorded TV.

Product worked without any issues. Took the product out from the box and it was easy to download my files onto it.

This hard drive is a massive in term of storage. Perfect solution for archives. Very cheap per GB ratio. :D

You'll be hard pressed to find a better value. It's a little loud, it seems to go to sleep quickly and take a while to get back up to full speed. But, that all comes with an HDD.
