After spending 179. for the hard drive, plus 20. for a two year Replacement warranty, it cannot be used as my main time machine backup and that was why I bought it in the first place. I’ve been advised by Best Buy that I can have remote help for this issue if I’m willing to pay 199. for a year. I don’t know, I’m not happy with this part of my purchase. It should hook up to my Time machine With no issues. I’m not too happy right now.
