      I shucked this drive, did the pin trick, and it's been working marvelously. Highly recommend as the best way to get mass storage.

      Wait until they go on sale. I shuck them and use them in a media server without issue. Only had the latest batch for about a month.

      Definitely gonna feel the drain when you realize moving 10TB at much slower speeds. But I use it as a off-site backup drive for my most important data; just gotta physically move it back and forth sometimes. So far, reliable.
