Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10 Terabytes can be handy when you're backing up anything north of 5TB of data, because it gives you the ability to keep deltas and extra, non-critical things like operating system ISOs and whatnot on the same physical volume as the backup/secondary storage. I've had about a half year of continuous daily use from this, and no hiccups or problems have happened yet, and since WD makes a pretty solid drive, I don't expect any for many more months to come.

Great Storage Device with Extra features

The speeds of transfer are amazing depending on what and where your transfering the files from. a 10gb video took 5mins thats drastically better than my other drives that took 1hr to transfer the same exact file....so i highly recommend this hard drive as a content creator its been a great help in storing files and its speed keeping me more productive than waiting around for processing.

And it was at a price that I couldn't walk away from and it's a western Digital.

I prefer storage that draws it’s power from the usb port, but such a large cash of memory requires it’s own power source. It is worth it to have that luxury. Great product, easy to set up and use, great service from Bestbuy, equals a happy customer.
