Full value for the money and I now have my personal cloud solution to store my pics and movies shot on my iphones. I have attached this to Monument and I can now control the pics backup and restore very easily. Thinking to partition it in 50/50 so other half planning to use as a back up of mac book pro. Need to do some research about that to use it as Time machine. So half storage capacity to be used in Windows and half by Mac. This is enough capacity for backing up few phones pictures and videos. Overall worth the investment.

The WD Easystore 12TB USB Hard Drive works great. It keeps all of my files, pictures, videos without any major hassles with transferring. Overall, great product.

This sucker is quite bulky, but runs oh so quietly. So far I've had no issues with it. My only complaint is I wish this offered some usb ports so I can just attach my items that I need transferring.

I walked into Best Buy with the intention of getting a large capacity external drive for my media files. I picked up a 10tb WD drive that was on sale for $189. I was happy with my purchase. I looked at their website to see what else they had on sale and not only was I surprised to see that they had the 12tb model for the same amount I was able to match the sku and replace the one I previously bought for the same amount an extra 2tb was worth it for me. This drive has been great for the few weeks I’ve owned it.

this hard drive is awesome! 12 terabytes in a small book size hard drive that hardly takes up any desk space! Highly recommended

I've always preferred WD drives over Seagate (which are garbage). The capacity and performance on these 12 TB drives is terrific!

I've owned this for about 9 months now and have yet to come close to filling it. I've had no issues with the drive at all.

Very large hard drive in terms of storage. Has been reliable and perfect for backing up large amounts of data.

There’s not much more satisfying than catching an Easystore. Shucking it for the delicious hard drive inside and using that as an internal hard drive. Except that’s false. However, the hard drive manufacturers insist on selling internal versions of these drives for at least twice the price. That being said. The 8TB drives I originally used have been great and are still working perfectly. I just wanted to make some more space, so these 12TBs are a great addition. I just wish they made some plain internal drives for a reasonable price.

Quality bulk storage that doesn't break the bank. We use the WD Easystore 12TB external hard drives to store copies of large project datasets. They have proven reliable, though it takes a while to spool up after sitting idle for any amount of time.

Arrived the next day, Yes it's 12TB over a USB 3.0 connection which is fine for what I do. I bought 2 of these and paid 199$/each. Drives are still connected running without any issues.

My older hard drives broke down so i bought this big enough to transfer both on to. Doesn't lose speed while transferring, no dropped connections and hasn't overheated. A great product.

Lots of storage capacity and very fast for a single rotating drive, at least meets my expectations for performance.

I use these in my NAS Storage unit and they just work. I would recommend these to anyone needing a lot of storage.

12TB for $180 Cyber Monday price. With Western Digital quality. I set up a Nas with a Raspberry PI 4. It works great.

Works as expected. Its a hard drive and it stores stuff. Transfer speeds are great and it hasnt stopped working. Thumbs up.

WD - easystore 12TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - Black was a great purchase and I am very pleased with the operation of this WD External Hard Drive.

Must have for any PC user or people who want to keep all their data. Still doesn't have USB-C on both sides. But still fast connection of course.

This is a USB 3 external drive. I have had an 8 TB drive an expect the same good service from this one. It is quick as long as you use usb3 port.
