Easy setup and Great Storage

Massive storage space

Sale price was lower than any other on-line retailer. Lots of storage space in a single USB3 device. Speed is good , not the fastest, but good.

Stable performance and great speed

Great hard drive

I will say, it seems to be tricky to set up in conjunction with the time machine on my 2019 MacBook Pro, but overall it does the job and the price is unbeatable for the amount of storage you get.

Good external HD for backing up photos and videos

The transfer speed is a little slower than expected, especially for a USB 3.0 drive. However, drive is stable and haven't had any issues or errors since I stared using it.

Same useful hardware as the 8TB and 10TB

When there is a sale on those, they are great backup drives, easy to encrypt, work on Linux/Mac/Win (with exFat formatting).
