I bought it on good price with Holiday Sale 2019 WD is famous brand and easy to use 12TB enought with media files and document on your latop or chromebook

So easy even a 12 year old can do it. It was purchased as external storage for his gaming system and he easily connected. All is good in the gaming world.

Large storage for a great price when they are on sale. I have 3 of these in my Plex server to store my movies and tv shows.

Great HDD and I love WD products. I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for cheap and plentiful storage space.

Smaller files transfer around 50MBPS larger files transfer around 150MBPS. Took nearly 72 hours to get 10TB copied over. This 12 terabyte drive has 12 thousand bytes of data available which technically is closer to an 11 TB drive; it's a common practice done by many hard drive manufacturers for many years perpetuated under the guise of consumers that don't understand Bits & bytes and file sizes and their 'benevolant' attempts to simplify things by rounding them off. For users that need a large amount of affordable storage this goes on sale often with with a two-year warranty. If you can handle the slow read and write speeds and don't mind the marketing tricks and smaller available storage this is a reasonable purchase under our current market options in 2020. I would only give it 1 more star if it had the expected capacity; its slow speed looses one star. It still is annoying to see this deceptive marketing. When I purchase (some) hard drives you will occasionally find one that is honest with their marketing...

I have been using this for a while and it is a very reliable and economic storage device compared to adding the same size internal hard drive.

I have had this unit in service for a year, works great and provides a nice backup drive for my 4 drive raid array. I would buy again.

Was running out of space and decided to upgrade to a larger drive. Its crazy how much they are packing into these drives .. works great and lots of room!

These externals are a good value when on sale. Wait for the sale price as the normal price is too high. These are easily shuckable if that is your thing.

Bought six of this drive to 'shuck' and install into my server. The drives all worked well! White label drives with model numbers WD120EMFZ and WD120EMAZ.

Love this External Drive. Display Light is not bothersome and can be turned off in settings. Large storage space for the money.

Great item, no problems. Use them in the past with saving anything. The storage on it is great and easy to move from each system.

Good Product easy setup! Light. 12TB is nice to have so I can backup my 1TB HD and my 4TB detachable or dump out the 4TB and start adding fresh stuff!

These drives are absolutely great. They might even be shuckable for use as internal drives as well. Very fast response and highly reliable.

It's like a warehouse for your files instead of a file cabinet. Works well and holds everything...literally everything with plenty of space left.

Had a lot of accumulated media files on a handful of smaller drives, this gives me a chance to consolidate on a newer drive. Price per Tb is great.

This drive is a great deal when it is on sale, which seems to be pretty often. I've bought a few of them and have had zero problems.
