Enough room for backups. Loads and Loads of room.

It just works. It's not the fastest hard drive and it's not the biggest one either, but it does work well. And much quieter than the previous hard drive I was using.

I bought this to replace my WD external HD damaged by a hurricane. So I knew I wanted to repurchase because WD is such a reputable brand. Before WD, I had another brand that would constantly and randomly disconnect…not a good thing for nightly automated backups of my workstation. I never had this issue with WD. It’s quiet and speedy and serves my purposes perfectly. The footprint is small and you won’t be disappointed with your purchase. The value is great, as I won’t have to delete backups for months.

good value drive; got for lowest price since 2019.

Bough this to do backups of my Asustor NAS. Plugged it in and it was recognized by the NAS right out of the box. Speed seems to be right on par with what I would expect for USB 3 7200RPM drive.

A tremendous item to have as a backup, It gives me peace of mind knowing I can store my pictures and other files on my external hard drive without taking up space sliding down my computer!

I have 3 of these from 8 to 14 TB. They ae easy plug and play and just work. Never had a problem with any of these drives. As expected just plugged in the computer and have been doing software and data backups ever since. Copied down 25,000 files one day with no issues.

Lots of storage at an affordable price. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a password protection capabilty.

plenty of space and decent speed. speed drops as the drive gets 3/4 full.

I own several different variations of the WD easystore harddrives, and they are all very fast, reliable, and add plenty of storage. Highly recommend if you are running low on hard drive space.

I'm a videographer. I backup my raw files on these Hard Drives. They work great for me. I fill them up and put them on a shelf. They have not failed me yet. I buy 3 to 4 a year when they go on sale.

Got this on a holiday deal - 14TBs - I have no idea how they store so much in one drive. So far so good. The drive works as you would expect. It runs quiet and read and writes are quick. Once the drive is formatted it drops to 12.9TB, but that was to be expected.

Great price. I have purchased four of them for remote editing and backup.
