      Arrived fine and worked well at startup, but it is less than a month into its use and already it is crackling and even clicking at times- potential signs of bad sectors, and I fear I might need a replacement already. It also consistently gets over 120f, with an external fan facing it to keep it cooler, since it overheated to the point of needing to be shut off for a bit earlier in the week. : < No external damage either, it just seems something inside is faulty.

      huge space for all the backups. great speed for the 5400rpm, getting 200MB per second on both read and write. much better the the seagate ones.

      Was worried about slow access speeds and would I lose the data if it were bumped hard. I keep it where it will not get bumped, and the speed is just fine

      I bought initially for my PS5 but it’s too big, maximum is 8TB. I gave it to my brother instead good timing because it was almost Christmas!!!

      Great external hard drive, especially if you can grab on sale. I use it with my xbox one x, and never have to worry about running out space. Between the transition from disk to digital copies of games, and the fact that you get 4 free games a month from xbox live, a large external hard drive is the way to go.

      Great drive for a great price, put it inside my NAS. It seems to really be 7200rpm however which is great for me. You can use smartctl to set TLER
