An absolute must have for all of you data hoarders out there! After formatting, you will have 12.7 TB, so keep that in mind. I have been using WD drives for years and I find them to be the most reliable for me!

I purchased this hard drive to combine all my older computers. Its plug and play and fast USB 3.0 connection made it a snap. I highly recommend this Western Digital Drive for its, speed capacity and value!

WD hard drives are my go-to, and they’ve been much more reliable for me than Seagate. These easystore models, only at Best Buy, are usually the best value for the capacity.

Great drive, sustained writes are very quick around 120mb/s, have stressed this drive for a week straight and filled it up no issues, Shucks really easy. Hopefully it lasts, will have to buy another soon to back up my now complete collection.

I have been using this drive every single day for just under 2 years to store all of my backups for all of my computers (which is a lot). It is nearly full now and I will probably be replacing it soon with another easystore in higher capacity. It has never let me down. The CMR drive inside is much more consistent in write speeds than the old SMR seagate I had before it. WD drive utility lets you turn off the status light if you want to. All things considered a pretty quiet drive as well.

My external drive is close to getting max'd out. This was on Sale and I could not pass up on this deal. A must have if you work closely with videos and photo's.

Insane amount of storage for backing up all of your stuff. These drives are pretty quiet and transfer fast over USB3. They do get warm in the enclosure, so I put a small USB fan over the top to pull air through it to give it some air flow.

I bought these to shuck for my NAS. They are WD White drives and work great in my Synology NAS without doing any mods for the 3.3V power. Can't beat the price on Best Buy's sales.

Western Digital never fails. Just wait for the sales. I own 6 drives all different capacities. Every single one works like the day I bought it. The most recent was a 14TB and basically doubled the storage I had prior with one drive.

Worked exactly as expected. I shucked the drive to use in an Unraid server, with no issues. At $199, the price was exactly in my budget. Will definitely buy again

This was such an excellent deal when i bought it that i couldn't pass it up. Historically i've had great luck with western digital products, so when i saw a 14tb drive for under 200 bucks i jumped at it.

Huge drive. I use it for my mac time machine as a secondary backup to cloud. Works well. Some people complain of noise... doesnt bother me at all. Not sure why people even talk about it.

I bought this on a Black Friday special price. It was exactly what I was looking for. I'm using it with a DS418J Synology NAS. I had no problems getting it to work. So far so good. Would recommend.

This drive stores a lot. It took 5 DAYS to do a full format (this gives the drive a good workout and reduces chances of early death taking your data with it). It did not overheat. The USB3 interface seems slow but that could be the 10TB I'm moving from a nearly full 12TB version. I think this is the best value for the 2020 holidays.

Super easy to use. No need to install extra software. Plug and play, at least on windows. I did end up installing the WD software though just to keep my drives from falling asleep and to turn the blinking lights off.
