works fine plug it in and it does its thing. It is black. I dont know what else you would have to say about this.

Very pleased with the WD 14TB, both quality and price.

I'm not sure if I received a bad batch. But I've had to delete and reformat this twice already while having it. I'm hoping that this isnt a regular occurrence. I'm using it for my backbook pro, but it wont always mount correctly on hard drive.

This is a 12.7tb drive not a 14tb drive. WD doesn't use the MS Standard most other manufactures do, so its calculation issue. They can call it what they want, but you dont get 14tb of storage as you would with 90% of other manufactures. I just wish I had known that, I would have jumped on a true 12tb drive and higher quality brand/model. Will likely return this later this week.

I ordered a pair of these drives for some archival backups on a couple of systems and I feared that their connection would be a huge drawback and the drive being so slow spinning comparatively would be very slow to write data. Wow, was I worried for nothing. Sustained writes of over 200MBps, yes, big B were possible with the backup software (not included) using Acronis fwiw. The drive spins down very accurately after no activity which is great for longevity. Very happy with this drive, already considering another one.

I've had it for a month and it works great so far.

I dabble in photography and needed additional storage for my pictures and videos. I bought this when it was on sale and it works well!

I purchased to set up automated back-up. Did not include software for setting up backup.

This was a great purchase, the sale price drove the decision on this product

Cheap external storage with so so quality. I don't feel they cool these drives properly. I had one fail after a year and a half for no apparent reason other than they run hot with little cooling. Everyone raves about these because of the low cost but I wouldn't trust it for important file storage long term.

Capacity and price are exceptional. The drive is slower than I expected.

Good backup hard drive except no password protect like other WD hard drives

good but slow backup, we formatted into many different volumes to back up all the major computers in the house
