All it took was one fall of less than 2 feet for the drive to become inoperable. For nearly $300, I expected better than this.

Drive Failed, 10 Months of LIGHT use!

Mechanical failure - click of death... I've had drives fail over the years, but this is beyond frustrating for a new drive. My backups for this drive are scattered so it's going to take a huge amount of time and work to recover... Family videos, photos... This coming off WD MyBookDuo vulnerability where my entire drive was wiped I'm going to stear clear of WD. I wouldn't trust their drives or their products! I will warranty this drive but I won't trust the replacement.

Showing device is not ready in disk manager. Tried it on 3 different machines. Now I have to deal with a warranty repair and get a refurbished drive. Not happy at all. My fault I guess. But still really really unhappy.

Sometimes it works for a bit, when it does it is very slow to respond and freezes the computer its connected to.
