If you need a ton of storage for photos, videos, etc... this should last you a long time! While not the fastest drive compared to SSD etc, this gets the job done if using primarily for file storage.

Works great as my primary back up device. Not the fastest, but not the point. Appears designed to be standing vertically, would have preferred an option to lay on its side.

Stop cheating us. call it a 12 tb and sell it like a 12 tb. this is absolutely ridiculous. and speed? can y'all use a usb-c? totally slowww Prolly get all my portable drives copied by 2025 and the "included software" hangs on both a i9 and an i7 pc. Look, if you want to sell us cloud space, sell it like that, but stop insulting your customers. this is only 12 usable

just needed to back up family pics and videos slow to transfer but works great

After a few weeks drive started clicking, and then beeping. Had to use the warranty to replace it. Then the drive that I received did the same thing. Using the warranty is a pain, and you have to pay to ship it. I would avoid this drive completely

I bought this hard drive for the 14TB storage. When it was connected to the computer or was not 14TB. The total space was 12.75. The only thing on the hard drive was an install software. So where is the rest of the 1.25TB. I know that the install program is not that big. Trying to get a hold of WD and get answers

Drive has plenty of memory and nice speed. I have several of these with different storage amounts.

The drive rattled when you turned it over. There was definitely something rolling around, maybe a loose screw. I returned it and bought the same one on Amazon and it didn’t have that problem. I’m sure it was an isolated incident but I didn’t want to take a chance and short something out.

Won't power on after using it twice. I backed up all of my data when I received it a couple of months ago and now it won't turn on at all.

I bought this for my PS5 to put all my PS4 games on it so that I could have room to install more PS5 games but sadly PS5 won't format it because the storage space is over 8tb. I'm not entirely sure if there's other reasons why it's not compatible with PS5 but I know I've seen reviews say it is but to be safe I'll have to buy the more expensive WD Black hard drive
