it give me a lot space but that, also give me some noise when not using it

So far I'm loving this. We're using it to store files for our Plex server and it's doing the trick. The real test is how long it'll last. I've had some bad experiences with other past WD external drives but decided to give them one more shot after the many positive reviews I read. Transfer speeds are great but always remember the device you are transferring from/to also plays a large factor in getting advertised speeds. It's not really a complaint but I miss the drives that had extra ports on them. It'd be nice if I could leave this plugged into my PC and Shield at the same time.

Worked great after after shucking. No mod needed. It is a bit louder than a typical drive though.

I've used these things in varying capacities for years as "archive" devices. Not fast enough for constant use, but that's not what it's for. Great value for the money, haven't had one die yet.

Well so far so good. Ive only had it a couple weeks. I have used many WD X hard drives and Ive been very happy w all. Sorry no data on specs and comparisons n such. I done care about speed n such. As long as my data is secure 4 several years, and again very satisfied.

I use this in tandem with my Synology NAS. It works great to hold files and for backup.

Even though this is the first time in a while I’ve used Best Buy the WB drive came on time and it is a better product than it’s competitor that cost me 30 dollars less, I’ll be coming back here to buy the same product in 6 months when I need a new one, I am now totally vamping to hit the 50 word minimum so I can hand this review In.

I reformatted this drive to use with an Apple Mac and replaced the USB cable with a 1 foot long thunderbolt cord to plug into the Mac thunderbolt jack. Using drive for backup and editing of over 80,000 photos and 10,000 videos. Surprisingly, t is delivering faster search and play speeds than expected. Glad I purchase during the great sale.

Great price dollor vs terabyte. Hard Drives came on time. Easystore has the ability to turn off sleep mode via wd tools.
