Glad we’re seeing a good price for hard drives again after the shortage that accompanied us for the past two years. This is exactly what I was looking for to set up a remote TimeMachine that backs up all my household’s Macs

Purchased 10 of these units to use in my NAS. It has been a little over a year now and all is well. Yes, the drive was removed and my warranty is now void and I don't care because in today's world. Nothing last forever!

Bought for my son to enable him to store games on his gaming system. I bought a 5TB one about 5 years ago that is just now filling up, so i figure i wont have to buy another one for at least a dozen years or so now

Great external hard drive with massive storage of 14TB, I already had 3TB WD Mycloud I plugged it to it as USB backup and I can access all info online on both devices use it as back up as well very convenient i wasnt sure if it was going to work but it did it made the money both storage combined is 17TB since do photography i can use it as back for client pictures. I hope it last. WD is a great brand I have the other old mycloud and I have it for 7 years no issues so far, hope this one will last too. Great price, I regret not buying it for black Friday for $199.00 but I got it for $217.00 was still a great price better then amazon or other stores. Speed is good if you plug it with computer but not the best, very happy so far.

Works perfectly fine, however, I wanted a specific model that suited my requirements. Ended up getting another Western Digital model with intended features.

Not the fastest external hard drive mind you, but if you need to store a lot of stuff. (Ahem, for research and reference purposes...). I would not recommend if data from this drive must be constantly accessed (e.g. installing games on the drive).

This hard drive is truly excellent. It is a high capacity and very fast. I am very pleased and it is a great addition to my computer system. The large capacity allows my to store massive amounts of data. 14 TB is a very large amount of data.

I already have 3 and might be buying another one soon because of all the movies i own

its a big harddrive. i use it for a media server. works pretty swell for now. needed a big hard drive; its a big hard drive. not sure what else to say.

Got this on a daily deal and am thrilled to have so much storage for (relatively) so little cost. I have 2 of these, one I shucked and put into my PC (also very easy to do) & the other I use for external backup.

I needed a drive to back up my files on my NAS. This unit works great with plenty of storage. It will not connect to some OSs such as FreeNAS (FreeBSD) but for the general user, I'm sure it's a perfect fit on spec, value and performance.

I use to buy 4tb drives and then when I started doing video work they would fill up quickly. This drive has helped me solve the issue of having so many extra drives.

Awesome value, picked this up on sale. If you are planning to shuck this drive, be aware that the middle screw taps on the sides are not available on this model that you would find on a typical internal drive. This may affect your installation.

Just about the biggest drive you can get right now and with Covid the prices aren't really coming down but got this on a deal of the day. Still spendy but works well & I can retire some of my smaller drives with copying them onto this one.

This 14TB capacity is currently the best value ($ per TB) when on sale. The drive I received was a WD140EDGZ that CrystalDiskInfo reports as 7200RPM. I am currently using it shucked inside an HTPC.

I only buy WD ext drives and no exception here. Good deal on this large capacity plug and play for my archival footage l.

We prefer WD hard drive over other brands because WD drives have never failed on us. This one has massive capacity. It is used for the media storage and serves the purpose very well.

Having enough storage is really nice to make sure you have the space to keep precious files or even run a small home server. Drives are shuckable if you don't mind voiding the warranty.
