      Good value for the amount of storage, using it to keep my photo backups (copy of the copy, you can never be too careful with photos) Don't expect it to be superfast. It is meant for backups

      Works great to back up my NAS every month, runs as fast as an external drive usually does, really quiet, doesn't get to hot after running 5-8 hours straight. Silent while on standby.

      Great, basic external drive. WD drives have never really given me any problems. They are the only external drives I trust for backups or lesser used storage like photo/video archives.

      I took out the international hard drive of this external hard drive to insta in my PC case. Other than a few issues with that whole process, this drive works fast enough for what it does; storing large amounts of data.

      If you are in need of extra storage for photos, movies, games, or whatever then this is your product. When formatted as NTFS, you get around 12.7TB usable space. It should last a while.

      A little slow to power up after the drive goes into power saver otherwise it's a great value and drive, you might notice a little delay in boot time due to the drive powering up.
