I've been using this drive for a good while and having that extra long term storage has been so nice. My main Hard Drives were almost full and this has been a life saver.

Got this huge drive on sale for a great deal and we're using it at our office for a temporary location for transferring a lot of files. It's not super fast but we knew that going in.

Pretty good transfer rates for an external drive, quiet, reliable. I have two of these for my dedicated plex media server pc and have no trouble keeping up with 4K video.

I've been using WD for many years and for the most part they have done very well long term. Barracuda drives are reliable and when disconnecting correctly they shouldn't fail.

Good price for 14Tb of storage. It's a bit noisy but it's been reliable so far.

Need this drive for my backup. Contemplating on shucking and use for my NAS. ATM, I have 4 x 4tb on my NAS. Undecided if i want to upgrade to 14TB x 4 drives. Will wait for the price to get more affordable.

Best per tb price for any drive. I buy these and “shuck” them for the bare drives. I then load them into my Synology NAS and they work flawless.

This is my second wd easy store hard drive. They work great for photos and videos so i have a copy if there is an issue with cloud storage.

I bought this on Black Friday sale for $189.99. Then I went home, shucked it and put it in my newly assembled pc. If you are gonna do the same, make sure you have an IDE Molex to SATA Power Cable ready.

Works good. I use it to backup files from my Linux desktop. Just plug it in and start copying the files. Copy the file to the external 14 TB hard drive. It will take a long time to fill it up though.

Excellent External Hard Drive. Very useful for storage backups and accessibility to large volumes of content for workflow.

Hard to beat the TB/$ ratio for this purchase, only nitpick I would have is WD should include an adapter or at least sell one next to drives in store for their Shucksters.

Huge hard drive, great price. Speed is pretty good, on par with the external WD 2TB drive I was using. The only downside is that only 12.7 TB are usable out of the 14 advertised.

Supposedly you can shuck this but I haven't even bothered. Just sitting next to my HTPC and chugging away. It's about 80% full now and still going strong.

Purchased it in Nov 2021 and so far it has been amazing. I am planning on purchasing another one in the future.

Just amazing not having to worry about space anymore .I have my entire digital photo collection on there and it makes me feel so relieved to know I have ample space left to add even more .Thank you WD .
