Lots of storage and a good drive inside. Shucked and put into raid with no issues. Be sure to recycle an old storage device for 15% off whatever current price is.

Great product and the hard drives in this particular model is fantastic and long lasting (when taken care of and handled properly). WD makes great drives and has a long history in this area.

This is my second. First one is doing great as USB backup and this one was shucked and put into my Synology NAS. Both work great. As noted by others there are no middle screw holes, so shucked drives that go into carriers before mounting in a NAS or enclosure may present issues.

Was able to get this with the Member pricing and it has served me for storing all huge files that I had on my previous 2TB drive and also using it to perform backups. Read/write is good.

Can store large volumes of personal videos as needed. Meanwhile, with large volume of videos already available, don't waste time.

This is a dream storage device for those needing to clear space off of their desktops and/or consolidate other smaller hard drives. Amazing storage for the price.

So far to good since I have been using it primarily as my backup drive. I have a few HDD and hope this one stays in good health! also, I got it on sale for $180 so it was an AMAZING deal.

Bought this on sale for under $200 and will never have to worry about storage capacity again. (You can also remove the individual 2GB drives from it for a PC but it'll void your warranty.)

Not bad at all. As a content creator, I always need more space. I DON'T edit off this, but rather use it as a second back-up as it's so big. It's GREAT for that as I don't need the speed.

I got this as a large backup drive for my computer and it works great. This is perfect, especially since i caught it on sale!

Use this as my main backup for my video/photo work. The hefty amount of storage is exactly what I need when I have big projects I want to offload.

Got it on sale. You can never have too much storage these days. Gonna use it with Plex to stream some movies. Never have to swap discs again. Woohoo!

Easy to setup. USB 3.0 makes the transfers fast. Drive inside runs warm 40C. Placed a small fan pointing to the openings on the back and temps went down to 30C.

WD is the top brand of external hard drives, at least I think so. It has been 10 years since I got the first WD hard drive, and there has never been any problem.

This has been a blessing in disguise it works well with my system and helps free up space.

It does the job for a great price. Hopefully it lasts for a very long time.

I can always use more external hard drive space, This is plug and play and allows great back-up for my computer. I got it on a Dealof the Day at a great price. I like the 3.0 USB on it.

Couldn't pass up the Black Friday price for additional storage. All my external drives are WD drives and they all performed to expectations. No complaints here.

It was the right price point at the right time. We can always use more storage space. So far so good, just hope its life span exceeds its predecessor.
