Got it on sale. You can never have too much storage these days. Gonna use it with Plex to stream some movies. Never have to swap discs again. Woohoo!

This is a great size drive for traveling with large amounts of data. I bought this during a sale at a remarkable value! Test the drive thoroughly to ensure it's not defective at reception.

Bought two for my boys. Speeds are acceptable for an external, great for steam library consistency between computers/upgrades.

Easy to setup. USB 3.0 makes the transfers fast. Drive inside runs warm 40C. Placed a small fan pointing to the openings on the back and temps went down to 30C.

Was able to get this with the Member pricing and it has served me for storing all huge files that I had on my previous 2TB drive and also using it to perform backups. Read/write is good.

This is my second. First one is doing great as USB backup and this one was shucked and put into my Synology NAS. Both work great. As noted by others there are no middle screw holes, so shucked drives that go into carriers before mounting in a NAS or enclosure may present issues.

So far to good since I have been using it primarily as my backup drive. I have a few HDD and hope this one stays in good health! also, I got it on sale for $180 so it was an AMAZING deal.

Bought this on sale for under $200 and will never have to worry about storage capacity again. (You can also remove the individual 2GB drives from it for a PC but it'll void your warranty.)

WD is the top brand of external hard drives, at least I think so. It has been 10 years since I got the first WD hard drive, and there has never been any problem.

Not bad at all. As a content creator, I always need more space. I DON'T edit off this, but rather use it as a second back-up as it's so big. It's GREAT for that as I don't need the speed.

A little fiddly to set up for Mac but after setup it works very well! Great device for a great value!

It was the right price point at the right time. We can always use more storage space. So far so good, just hope its life span exceeds its predecessor.

Used this to backup a video game PC I have thats almost full. This holds all the games and is my backup from the main drive. No problems yet.

Bought a few of these for work over the past year. The price to performance is hard to beat when you need alot of storage quickly.

Couldn't pass up the Black Friday price for additional storage. All my external drives are WD drives and they all performed to expectations. No complaints here.

I can always use more external hard drive space, This is plug and play and allows great back-up for my computer. I got it on a Dealof the Day at a great price. I like the 3.0 USB on it.

Reliable device. I remove the casing and use the bare drive. This is one of the cheapest places to get this hardware.
