Really good speed and quality WD hard disk. This is the most price/value ratio model of WD: $13.5 per TB. I saw video claiming 14TB is the largest recommended model as larger model will take much longer to copy/format

WD easyshuck still working great. Got the air filled ones. The ones off newegg were helium filled. Much harder to shuck without breaking the tabs, watch a video.

I am using this drive for media storage for a home media server. It has perfectly fast enough read and write speeds for my purposes even if it could be a bottle neck for saving media after downloading. If I were to lose the files on this drive for any reason, it would not be the end of the world. I can't speak to the drives long term reliability, but I would have a backup if I were storing important data. All that said, I would certainly recommend this drive.

Good storage drive. Tons of space. Copy to it at about 130 megabytes per second. Good price when it rotates through deal of the day.

The WD EasyStore 14TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive is fairly annoying as far as activity and the noise it makes. Continuously doing something and making a racket in the process. This might be a Windows 10 thing but I finally had to unplug it. I only occasionally use it for backing up video files and having it "on-line" when I'm not using it is just not acceptable....too much annoying activity.
