      I actually bought some 12TB drives when this went on sale shortly after for only a little more: I quickly returned the unopened drives for these. I do video editing which eats up space, so I always look for the most storage relative to price. Speed and reliability are good with Easystore.

      Cheapest way to get 14TB of backup space. Wish regular internals were this cheap.

      The NAS was easy to setup as a RAID 2 drive on Windows 11. It also has worked well integrating other drives under it as a storage a server. As suspected it is not super fast in this configuration...

      Purchased it for my mac, works well. The only issue is if you use your mac its better to just reformat the drive. If you use the tool WD provides it becomes problematic when you try to share the drive. It was easier to use MAC OS Extended Journaled. I got the drive on sale. Just hope WD honors their warranty.
