      So far, this drive has worked without any real problems. My only gripe is that it tends to run a bit hot. After an hour of use, the temperature has gotten up to 53 Celsius. As a result, I place it in front of a box fan to keep it cool. I have noticed this with other external WD drives that use the same enclosure that I have bought over the last 14 years.

      Huge storage, 14TB is great. Got on sale so a great price. They stand up which I love so they take up less room. I am usually a seagate guy, but these stand up are perfect. They are on all the time and have worked great. Bought a few of them.

      Shucked (white label) the drive and works great in my Windows 10 Plex server. Do some searching but you may need to cover the 3rd pin on the SATA power port with some electrical tape in order for it to work on a PC (depends on your PSU). Works well as an external drive.

      Effective bulk storage for Time Machine backup, but much louder than I was expecting. I initially had issues with the drive disconnecting itself, but I believe that was more of a macOS problem than the fault of this drive. However, it's exceedingly loud, being audible through the wall in the next room over.
