I'm not sure what the software that comes with it does, but the 1st night I left it running to get the data from my old computer, nothing was copied. I finally got it work manually. Other than, it works just fine. I was able to move the data to my new computer with no problems.

the technician said I needed this to back up my computer while they did some work on it so I told them to go ahead and do what they needed to do... I was happy with the results

I purchased this Hard Drive to backup my PC. It has 1 TB memory which is huge. (Backup was done by BestBuy's Geeksquad).

The drive is easy to use and has worked perfectly for the last month. Transfers are fast. Everything seems to be exactly as you'd expect!

Your basic external hard disk. I can't comment on the easystore software, I wiped it and am using it to back up a linux system, but it works great for that.

this was great for transferring all my computer files. I need a new computer and this external hard drive made it easy to transfer all of my files from my old computer and on to my new one.

Great (physical) size, did not need more than 1 TB and the price was right. Does not require a DC adapter for power so it is extra portable!

I never knew these even existed, and is a lifesaver and was very easy to set up and use, I highly recommend it for all gamers using this system!

This is being used as external storage for my Xbox One. Easy to use. Just connect the cable to the Xbox and plug it in to the drive. Follow a few prompts on the screen and you're all set.

Works well for backing up my laptop, haven’t had any issues. I’m not a tech savvy person so can’t give a super detailed review but it does what I need it to and is user friendly.
