This is my second Western Digital external hard drive. I wouldn't have bought this second one if I had not been pleased with the first one. I love to download and save video for later viewing and actually just to save. I have always been a collector of various things, and now I collect video. Storage on the external device is a must. When this one is full, I will buy another.

It is a great device to have to backup that important picture, school work, blog, story, music or whatever else you don't want to lose. Easy to use, holds a great amount of information. Gives you a sense of safety and relief knowing your stuff is always available in a time and age where things can go deleted to obsolete in a matter of seconds.

It is a good device but the RPM speeds need to improve considering SSD pricing is coming down dramatically. Weigh out your options based on your needs. Photo and doc storage this works great. I would not recommend for large file transfer of video files.

Can carry in my computer case or camera excellent to store vodeo ,music ,slideshows hooks right up to laptop mac or windows can be recognized by both.Good deal for my money,more convent for travel.
