      I bought the hard drive for the space only, so I deleted the software that came on it and now use it strictly for additional space. Works great as I am using it.

      This is an excellent product for the price point. The only potential issue is that you could loose your data if you accidentally drop this storage device because unlike SSD drives, it uses an HDD drive.
