Like this hard drive, a great amount of storage on it.

I was looking for a backup Drive that would back up Network mapped drives. The Best Buy associate told me that it would. It will not recognize mapped network drives. It would be great for a local backup but requires third-party software to backup over mapped drives.

I've been using this external hard drive for all my assignments in school: it makes it easy to switch from laptop to desktop... still don't trust the cloud.

This is easy to use and provides great piece of mind knowing everything is backed up safe.

We bought a Dell laptop in December. After using it a couple times, it stopped working. Best Buy had us return it & we ordered a new one. We brought it back in to transfer information from the old one to the new one. Brought the new one home. We had a document saved & I went into it to make some changes, couldn't access the document. We noticed that they didn't download Microsoft office. Now we have to make another appointment to have this completed. We are starting to get a bit frustrated. The Geek Squad needs to take more time to make sure that items tranfered correctly.

I bought this for my son and he uses it to store PS4 games and files. He loves that it gives him more storage options.

Don't know what to say - it's an external hard drive, does the job if you're looking for extra/backup storage. Comes with USB 3.0 connector, doesn't require external power like the old drives used to. 1TB should be sufficient for most people for backing up essential files they don't want to lose. The price was competitive with anything online and WD is a solid brand.

At first I was having trouble trying to make this work with my MAC, but after checking out some YouTube videos on how to install it, it started working very well and holds up a lot of space.

Love it for external storage. I use it to store extra media.

Needed to back up my computer after losing some very good pictures. This external hard drive works great and backs everything up automatically on the hour.

Fast and does what it has to. A little disappointed that it had a proprietary connection... Don't lose the cable.
