      I have used the new WD to back up several files. This was recomended by the geek squad person at Best Buy. It was a perfect fit for the new computer I purchased at Best Buy. Microsoft laptop go.

      While it may not be your fastest hard drive on the market by any means it can still do its job like it was designed to do. I was able to transfer over all of my 4k footage from my camera safely onto another computer. So far I've been able to carry the HD in my in a small pocket. I would recommend getting a smaller bag for it incase any damage were to happen to the bag. Overall really well built hd for its price. Would buy another one one a pinch.
