AWESOME AND IT IS BETTER THAN FIVE STARS!!! VERY QUIET AND FAST!!! USE ON MACBOOK PRO’S TIME CAPSULE! I HAVE TOTAL CARE AND GEEK SQUAD FORMATTED IT FOR MAX AND I WAS VERY PLEASED!! TOTAL TECH IS A MUST BUY!!!

This thing saved me when my hard drives got damaged after a power surge (I stupidly had my pc plugged into the wrong power strip which I thought was my surge protector). I was luckily able to backup my important files even in the state that my hdd and sdd were in.

The first thing I do when I purchase any hard drive is check s.m.a.r.t. for errors and run the extended self test. Gsmartcontrol does not work on this drive but Passmark Diskcheckup will give you smart info and run the extended self test. Crystaldiskinfo will also give you the smart info but, as far as I know, won't run any tests. The drive passed the extended self test so it's a keeper. Thanks.

I Have this External SSD for almost over a month now and still works perfect and has helped a lot with storing games and documents from work etc and I enjoy that you literally just have to plug it in and it’s good to go within less then 2 minutes.
