I bought this HD for my PS4 to move all of my digital content and download additional games. I was able to plug this in and format it without issue. It is completely quiet, however there is an annoying white light that blinks on the front of the drive. Besides that, this thing is aces.

Received as a gift and works great with my laptop. Small and easy to use.

We needed this for back-up purposes -- For the price, we purchased TWO - we swap one each night. At this price - it's a very wise investment. We do also back-up to the cloud - but - as weird / nasty things can always happen 'up there' - having a 'hard' backup each day is invaluable.

So far, you can't beat it! Just what I needed to clear up some space on my home computer which I also b0ught at Best Buy almost 10 years ago! It's a Dell and it works great!

The storge unut worked great. Save all my data while working on my laptop. Was able to retrieve all the data that i needed to put back on my laptop. Now i will use to store all my pictures.

Seemed like a good option for me when I purchased a new computer, but after purchasing it I realized that my old computer was so old and out of date that it wouldn’t download the old operating system I was using. It was quick and easy to try and use though.

For this price, its a great deal. 1TB of space that REALLY IS 1TB, not a few MB short to accommodate for internal software. Recommended, you wont regret it. It includes software that makes it easy to communicate and scale your NAS storage with Western Digital and other compatible hardware/software.

This drive is great, just set it and forget it. you will forget it is even there backing up all your files in case your computers fails or has operational issues.

I needed to update the external hard drive for backups in preparation for transferring to a new computer. This is much more compact and has a greater capacity than the old external drive.

Works perfect with PS4 , power through USB and it is very small. Though you need to reformat it once on a PC for the PS4 to be able to make use of it.

Was using on my xbox one S but got a bigger one for it so now using it on my xbox 360 just hate that WD HD's light blinks when system is off i know it's their standby mode but still hate it use some black tape if it bothers you like me but other than that it's great for the price.
