The hard drive on my laptop crashed and the Geek Squad was able to rescue files and photos off of it and put them on the external drive. And the only thing I had to pay for was the drive.

Does an excellent job. Have transferred my files in an effort to back up everything the past few weeks.

Seemed like a good option for me when I purchased a new computer, but after purchasing it I realized that my old computer was so old and out of date that it wouldn’t download the old operating system I was using. It was quick and easy to try and use though.

Was using on my xbox one S but got a bigger one for it so now using it on my xbox 360 just hate that WD HD's light blinks when system is off i know it's their standby mode but still hate it use some black tape if it bothers you like me but other than that it's great for the price.

It's not often that you find diminutive 1TB drives that are silent in their operation, don't overheat, are well priced and are plug n' play with both Windows and Mac computers. That's what makes the WD My Passport Ultra such a good buy!

WD Drives are always a great product. Dependable and great customer service. Used this one as an external drive to be used with my Amazon firestick, and has worked wonderfully! Can now download files instead of simply "streaming". Turns my Firestick basically into a DVR!

This is the second time that I am purchasing this external portable hard drive. It worked so well for my one computer that I am getting an extra one for my laptop, which does not have much storage space. This is a great and inexpensive solution to your computer storage problem.
