This was exactly what I needed. I mostly use it to back up the thousands of photos, vector images, and designs I have on my computer. It works as advertised. I've had it for a little over a year now and it's still working just fine.

WD Easystore does exactly what it suppose to do. The size is just right. You may want to purchase a case for it if it will see heavy travel.

This external hard drive is simple to use. I brought my old Mac laptop in and the Geek Squad told me just what I would need to back up all my photos. They even made sure it was correctly formatted so I could use it with a computer that no longer connects to the internet.

This harddrive works great and files transfer quick and easy.

Great to have when your old laptop is dying, and you need to back up your data. The new laptop did transfer some of the old files/documents, but not all. I did struggle with instructions and was finally able to decipher what to do.

I needed to update the external hard drive for backups in preparation for transferring to a new computer. This is much more compact and has a greater capacity than the old external drive.

This hard drive is really slick-looking and easy to use. It was exactly what I needed when I was in a jam, trying to move data off of an old 2013 iMac computer. I plugged the hard drive into my computer and within the half hour did everything I needed to do.

Recommended by agent in the store. Previous external storage just stopped working (10 yrs old). Needed external backup of my files. While being easy to set up, it was a little confusing as to how to disconnect the old drive and connect the new drive. As well, was given way too many choices as to what to backup (not a hi-tech guru)............thus kept getting an error message "that not all files were backed up". This is when I learned about UPPS.BIN and found out how to disconnect. Why have so many choices for a non-techy guru?

this is a great external storage device. I now have 3tb external storage for my Mac mini now so I am very happy having this one with it. I like the fact that I was able to transfer all my pc files on to this drive and be able to use them on my Mac without any problems.

easy to use, slim easy to store, fast in entering data, but I just use it and do not know the quality or how long the age. So far so good!

It does what it says it will do, and it does it well...the reason I only gave it 5 stars is because it was difficult to get started on my Macbook Air. They say it is compatible with Mac, and it certainly is, but I had to call technical support and get instructions how to erase the disc in order to mount it initially. Not that it was super difficult, but there 'instructions not included'. Tech support was great.

This item is exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it. I needed a hard drive to hold old data, and this item has delivered that. I would recommend this to anyone.

I love the extra space, but in order to use the software included on the drive you must agree to the company being sent information. I did not want my privacy being handed out said 'no' to revealing information. When you select 'no' they will not allow the software to install. No directions or information on what the software's use is even. I can use the drive without the software, it's just annoying to not be given a choice.

This drive is great, just set it and forget it. you will forget it is even there backing up all your files in case your computers fails or has operational issues.

Has enough space for all my photos and videos. Simple to use and like the sheik look.
