I remember when buying a computer with a GB of memory was a big deal and thinking I would never fill the memory. Now we have to store files with a TB of memory, and sometimes bigger. This product does what it is intended to do - store files - and we haven't had any issues. We did buy it on sale and it had a good price at the time.

This hard drive added 1tb of memory instantly to my under-equipped laptop, which only was equipped with a 3gb hard drive. I'm somewhat computer illiterate, but anyone can see that 1 terabyte sure beats 3 gigs! This unit worked flawlessly right out of the box and has already proven to be a great asset to my limited computer skills.

I used this to capture 8 years of files from my previous HP laptop damaged by water. Not only was I able to recapture and store all of my files from my computer, also I still had more than 50% capacity left for new files.

this backup works for iMacs. but first, the disk in the device had to be formatted, nd i did not have enough disk space to do that. had to go through many files and delete them to make room. the operations manual is online and the formatting instructions were difficult to locate and understand. worked fine other than that.

If you're looking for an affordable way to store your games on Xbox Series S this works amazing. Mind you the loading speeds are not as an SSD or NVME, but is a really good choice considering COD Warzone will take more than half the 512gb it comes with.

I had the techs at Best Buy take all the data, pics, videos, files off of 2 desk tops and one lap top so I can save everything and then update computers and factory reset to sell. This passport was large enough to hold thousands of files, pictures and still plenty of room.

I just used my new WD Easystore drive and it was very easy. I just plugged it in and started to back up my drive. You will want to be careful when you plug the usb cable into the drive as it is a little tricky.

Great amount of storage in this little external hard drive. I’ve already stored over 10,000 photos and several hours of videos and still have room to spare.

I have a 10 year old laptop that still works amazingly but I always worry about it stopping working all of a sudden and I would lose everything. I bought this and it was so simple to use. Everything fit and and I still have space left! It’s compact and lightweight too.

some newer drives wouldn't work with older SS ports, but this worked like a charm. kept the data safe and error free as well.

The data transfer speed is good and size of the drive is small enough to be carried along.
