I Needed A 1 Terabyte Harddrive & Looked @ WD Harddrives @ The Roseville MN Best Buy Store & Then Thought About It For 2 Weeks & Finally Bought The 1 TB HD @ Casper WY Best Buy & The Price Was Right Being 48 Dollars, That Got Me To Buy The HD.

I have 3 of these. 2 were used for backup purposes while computer(s) were in the shop. The other is used to store music which I then download to a thumb drive for my car. I have about 300 g of WAV files for the car so far.

I remember when buying a computer with a GB of memory was a big deal and thinking I would never fill the memory. Now we have to store files with a TB of memory, and sometimes bigger. This product does what it is intended to do - store files - and we haven't had any issues. We did buy it on sale and it had a good price at the time.

This hard drive added 1tb of memory instantly to my under-equipped laptop, which only was equipped with a 3gb hard drive. I'm somewhat computer illiterate, but anyone can see that 1 terabyte sure beats 3 gigs! This unit worked flawlessly right out of the box and has already proven to be a great asset to my limited computer skills.

Purchased this to go along with my AirTV so I could record live tv. After doing a little research I decided on this one. The set up was super easy. All I did was plug it in and followed the prompts. Highly recommend if you’re in the market.

Quick and easy setup. Plenty of storage. Not compatible with the newest version of iOS

No instructions and did not automatically get the necessary software from the web. Figuring out what to download was not very intuitive. Once the right software was downloaded the set up was relatively easy. Someone with minimal computer savvy will have difficulty with this item. Once setup, it appears to work well.

perfect place for storing your photos & videos. with todays cameras having such large maga pixel counts . why fill up your computer hard drive ,when you can store them on this portable hard drive .

This drive is great, just set it and forget it. you will forget it is even there backing up all your files in case your computers fails or has operational issues.
