I bought this to backup my files and photos on my personal computer since it is almost five years old. This is a very lightweight and compact hard drive. It was easy to setup and use and added peace of mind since I know all my work is backed up.

Needed some extra storage for my Xbox. This is a great product and was easy to set up. Wish I had got something like this sooner. And the price can't be beat for the amount of storage you get.

I love WD external drives and my sister is a photographer who needed a little extra storage for photo editing so I bought this as a gift and she loves it. It is super easy and portable so she can edit where ever she would like.

I just purchased today. I got it to transfer files from my old laptop to my new. It has plenty of storage, is light weight and is literal plug and play-no formatting or downloading needed. My old laptop is a Window 7 and my new one is Window 10-all is well thus far.

Purchased this hard drive as gift for my mother to store digitized photo albums. Simple set and use.

This thing is really small and light. Very easy to carry inside y our computer bag. I had no issues using it from the start.

It’s easy to use even though installation didn’t work the first time. It’s exactly what I need to backup all my files in case the worst happens. Peace of mind is worth it.

The ability to store 1Tb, of data on this compact drive, offers a great value for money. So far, the only problem I have with it, is forgetting it is attached to my laptop. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

My work computer was replaced, and the new one has an SSD drive that was much smaller than my previous hard drive. I had to add external storage or lose the ability to retain some much needed data locally. This drive is perfect, as it is USB powered (so no additional power connection), very small and light-weight.

This hard drive was purchased so that I can back up all of the images, documents, and videos I had stored on my rapidly aging computer. I'm confident that my data will be in a safe location when I need to transfer it to a new computer.

Have this as a plug and play to back up work files from several computers. Use it daily and always works, fast and easy.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE EASE OF INSTALLATION, I WAS NOT SURE I WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE SPEED, BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE OK

I purchased the portable backup goodie from the store while they were cleaning up my computers and wanted a safe save of all in the computers. I have not checked it but I assume all went well according to the repair department

I love using this type of storage for my important files. This external hard drive has always been easy to use and proven very dependable

The ease of using this is amazing. I've never owned one before for basic fear of technology. But can definitely say that this was a well thought out purchase. Holds way more than I have by any means, & being able to unplug it lets me worry less.
