I just purchased today. I got it to transfer files from my old laptop to my new. It has plenty of storage, is light weight and is literal plug and play-no formatting or downloading needed. My old laptop is a Window 7 and my new one is Window 10-all is well thus far.

Tremendous amount of storage space..I was able to save everything from 2 computers as a back up..you never know if your laptop gets fried..you have everything saved on this storage device.

It works perfect. I have so much more space on my computer. I am able to store everything from my computer AND still have storage on the computer and the hard drive.

My work computer was replaced, and the new one has an SSD drive that was much smaller than my previous hard drive. I had to add external storage or lose the ability to retain some much needed data locally. This drive is perfect, as it is USB powered (so no additional power connection), very small and light-weight.

Great amount of storage in this little external hard drive. I’ve already stored over 10,000 photos and several hours of videos and still have room to spare.

I love WD external drives and my sister is a photographer who needed a little extra storage for photo editing so I bought this as a gift and she loves it. It is super easy and portable so she can edit where ever she would like.

Needed some extra storage for my Xbox. This is a great product and was easy to set up. Wish I had got something like this sooner. And the price can't be beat for the amount of storage you get.

Easy to use and perfect for storing and or back up of all important documents.

I always try to get a back up drive at the very least, the size of the device's drive. That way I have the capability to back up the entire drive.

I am person not really tech saavy, but this is easy and not complicated to operate

This hard drive was purchased so that I can back up all of the images, documents, and videos I had stored on my rapidly aging computer. I'm confident that my data will be in a safe location when I need to transfer it to a new computer.

I needed something with substantial storage for all of the pictures that my wife takes and her laptop was getting full. Have owned WD drives in the past and actually still have a couple for miscellaneous storage. Great price for 1TB. I'm just hoping that it lasts for a little while before needing to get more.

I purchased the portable backup goodie from the store while they were cleaning up my computers and wanted a safe save of all in the computers. I have not checked it but I assume all went well according to the repair department

Its good stuff. Buy this external ssd if you want premium storage.

The ease of using this is amazing. I've never owned one before for basic fear of technology. But can definitely say that this was a well thought out purchase. Holds way more than I have by any means, & being able to unplug it lets me worry less.

The ability to store 1Tb, of data on this compact drive, offers a great value for money. So far, the only problem I have with it, is forgetting it is attached to my laptop. Otherwise, I like it a lot.
