I was offered this external hard drive by the geek squad since my sandisk external hard drive stopped working and I didn’t want to loose all the data that it had. So the geek squad was able to recover all of my files and transferred them to this one. So far it works but now I’m terrified of this one broke in the future. I’m going to have to invest in Apple iCloud storage.

I have 4 or 5 WD external storage devices. Easy to use. I have had one go bad. It just stopped being recognized by my computer. Physical problem with the drive from what I found. But this one is new and still kicking

I do projects on Photoshop and Indesign for a living and I needed to clean and clear my laptop and this Hard Drive greatly came in handy. Im definitely going to purchase two more WD Hard Drives during this Christmas weekend.

works like it should! I've never had a problem with it and i've purchased several. if you're using them to save videos or photos, like always it's good to have another one as a backup cause stuff happens. but I've used these hard drives for a long time and they work just fine for me.

We were looking for an external drive to backup our Sony PlayStation 3 console. Since the maximum capacity of the system is 1TB, this was the perfect alternative for what we needed to do - and the price was right.

I gave it a three because we had a hard time formatting it to actually be used with any computer. I don't know if it was an error on our part or if it was a hard drive itself. We have a film production company so we're very used to working with hard drive so I think it may have just been this version or this particular one that we got. Luckily we were able to return it without any issues.
