Great external drive. Scanning and uploading family photos on it. So easy as just plug it in and ready to go.

Super easy to use! great backup drive option. Used this for all pictures when migrating to a new computer Did not end up using the included utility that came with the drive but it still worked great!

Got this to use with my dad's computer, and it works great. I can back up his photos any time and know that whatever he does to his computer, his pictures will be fine.

I've always had good luck with Western Digital Hard Drives. I recently bought a new laptop and needed an external hard drive to backup all my files, etc.. This WD model fit my needs perfectly and the price was right. It works great with my backup program.

For the price you pay it’s a really nice memory external drive very easy to connect not much software to upload if you do have a Mac you have to have total tech-support format for you

I am only giving this a 4 at this time as I am new to this technology of trying to backup data from an older MacBook Pro laptop... just in case. This was easy to use with my laptop in combination with Time Machine, something else I had never used before. My question to myself was why had I not purchased one sooner?

I like to be safe. This External Portable Hard Drive allows me to control my writing and to have it with me. In my mind this is better than the safety of the cloud.

My wife used this hard drive to store the thousand photos and other personal info from our old computer. Did so with tons of memory left.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas since he's been wanting more memory for his games and so far he has been very happy with the space he has for it now. That's all I have to say about that.

Bought this for my Mac as hard drives that are formatted for PC's are not compatible. I have purchased several of these over the years and they always work great!

Our desktop motherboard went out and we took it to the Geek Squad to see if they could recover our files. We bought the external hard drive and they were able to save everything and transfer it.

My computer was getting loaded up with volleyball movies, so I needed an external hard drive. This device stores all the videos with room to spare.

I bought this as a DVR for my DISH Wally. It's pretty much plug and play. The Wally recognized it, formatted it, and set it up. It works flawlessly.
