Wanted an extra back-up hard drive. This one was perfect. Great capacity at a good sale price. Easy to use.

Can’t beat the price! Was able to store and save all my kid photos with plenty of room to spare!

I have several of these and I haven't had any problems. Some of mine are several years old and haven't failed me yet. I back up everything I want to keep multiple times on different externals.

I bought this to use as a backup clone for a recently purchased, older Mac Mini. The EasyStore drive comes formatted NTFS for Windows, but it can be easily formatted in OS X El Capitan using the Disk Utility. I was then able to use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup the Mac Mini. I have another drive that I use for Time Machine backup, so I did not need the drive for that. I also use the EasyStore drive for single on demand file backups like Quicken data file backups. After cloning the Mac, I tested the clone by doing a boot from the clone. It worked flawlessly. This drive is a great value for the money and I highly recommend.

Very good hard drive, fast when storing documents and not complicated to install

Plug and go- nothing could be easier. Wanted SSD for speed and something for photos. Worked out cheaper than a laptop with sufficient storage- very fast to access files also, wouldn’t know it’s an add-on.

This USB drive easily stores stuff, doesn't require external power and is small/compact. Didn't look for anything more, haven't gotten anything less. Hard to go wrong with one of these portable drives in your collection.

I own several WD external drives and have been very happy with the performance and ease of use. They are my first choice whenever I need to invest in more external drive storage.

Always a great way to store my back up files. They are slim and easy to store as well.

Good for backing up all my old video tapes. Bought a storage case to hold this portable drive. This drive will hold hours of video. It's s bit less expensive then the model with the security and back up software.

Better than expect portable HDD. Thought I was purchasing an SDD. However have seen little to no delay in copying times compared to SDD's I also use.

WD - easystore® 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive is simple to use and handy as a portable backup drive when traveling. Plug and play, I use it to offload large data from scanning documents when doing genealogy research so my laptop hard drive does not get filled up.

External harddrive worked extremely well with no difficulty and was very easy to handle due to convenient size.

This is a nice small platter drive - works great and was very inexpensive (compared to SSD). Also platters are better (IMO) for CCTV video storage since no issues with too many re-writes for SSD style HDs.

The Easystore 2TB external hard drive did an excellent drive holding everything I had on a computer that was going through a slow death. Photo's and documents were safe on the day my computer flickered off for the last time.

Potable Hard Drive is doing what it should holding the information I need to do my work separate from my computer. Easy to use and find information.
