Love these drives

Perfect for PS4 Expansion!

Bought it on sale, specifically to expand the hard drive of my PS4. Literally, plugged it in, was prompted to format as PS4 external storage, it was done in about 20 seconds.

I did reformat it to work with the Mac, but that went very smoothly and it has performed flawlessly. Can't beat the price and ease of use.

Great External USB 3.0 Drive

I use it for storing backups of my laptop drives, which it does well - and in a small form factor I can easily transport.

Compact 2 TB works well

The first I was aware of and it does not detract: it is formatted in NTFS and has to be reforrmatted in Disk Utility for the Mac. The one drawback that I see (4* instead of 5*) is that it has what I would call a proprietary on board socket for its USB cable. So, don't lose it. A standard mini or micro USB or even a USB-3 cable will not work.
