Purchased as a gift for my sister after she mentioned she could use an external. She was happy with the amount of storage and I was happy with the price point.

The best thing for your on the go storage. I recently had a computer crap out on me, i was able to restore a bunch of important pictures and documents and now have them safely transportable.

Took me a few minutes to set up, but overall, it was easy to transfer the photos. Easily connects to the laptop. The hard drive is small, which is super convenient. I wanted to use this to transfer photos for my phone, but I need to purchase an adapter for it, so FYI. Great price for the amount of gb it offers!

Such a easy storage to use :) very convenient when you have a lot of games in your system library works well if call of duty takes up too much space in your system

After reading a few negative reviews, I was a bit worried. However, I decided to give it a try, and it worked perfectly - my Mac reformatted it without any fuss, and the Mac started in on its regular Time Machine backup routine. Just what I wanted.

i wouldn’t recommend this to someone who doesn’t know how to figure out electronics on their own. But other than that, this is an amazing hard drive! Also, an amazing deal. 2TB for under $100!!!!!

Solidly built, data transfers are smooth and as fast as you'll get with a 2.5" mechanical drive. Only downside is that the plug receptacle on the unit isn't a USB-C, but a USB-Micro with an additional side connector that I assume is for power; as such it doesn't come with a generic USB cable, and I'm not sure it can use one - a generic USB Micro cable will fit, but it might not deliver enough power to spin up the disk. As such you'll need to make sure to not lose the USB cable that comes with the unit.

I needed to upgrade my computer. So I wanted a place where I could store my files and not put them into a Cloud. A friend recommended this device. I love it. I can easily drag and drop files to and from this device. And it had enough storage for all my photos. I didn't even have to convert the photos. There was also an option for the device to back-up file daily. So essentially, i could just leave it attached to my computer, and everyday it would back up new files onto the device.

I thought this has an external hard drive to add to my PlayStation 4. Set up was quick and easy. Works perfectly. Transferred all of my games to it and still have tons of room left on it.

Works exactly as intended. Fast way to store those useless files you're too afraid to delete.

The included software from WD is not being supported shortly so I needed to find, download and install a version of Acronis sofware to set up my backup regimen. I'm sure newly produced hardware will have the newer software available by default. Otherwise, a quality product by a quality manufacturer.

My computer is too full so i got this to put stuff on that i don't use too frequently.

This was the best purchase to store my extra games. I used it on my Xbox and my games load fast. Great purchase.
