Got this for my mother to store photos on, works great!

It's an external hard drive. There's not much to say. It either works or it doesn't. This one works fine. Plug it in to a USB port and copy your files. Small and easy to use.

I have 4 of these WD Hard drives and everyone is excellent They are Quiet ,Fast And reliable I highly recommend these to anyone who has valuable data to be stored or used daily.

Thought that it would contain the data backup software. It did not. Gave it to my grandson. I retired from Seagate. Should have stuck with them. Which I did also buy from Best Buy

The king of holding all your ps4 games on this hard drive if you have a ps5 because it holds alot of games that your ps5 cant until they release the harddrive for the ps5

Works great. Copied a lot of data for work. I had 1.8Tb to copy and it ran out of space just before the final files copied so it’s more like 1.8TB useable space.

A Year in half later its still going strong. I can download any game i want no matter what file size. I have over 40 to 50 games installed with over 300 gbs left.

Got this on sale. Yes it works with the ps4. When you first connect it to the ps4 it states it's not compatible. Don't worry!! All you have to do is follow on the on screen prompts and your done. Literally took a minute to format. It's a great way to expand your storage and it's small and convenient. Also, when you power off your ps4 it will power off as well unless you have it in rest mode. Don't disconnect it while the ps4 is on unless u power the hard drive off first. It will cause an error. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I've purchased these for several clients to set up daily incremental and full backups of their data. I like the drive because it's small I can use double-sided tape and stick it to the side of their computer. It also will run without external power directly from a single USB port, so there's no hunting around for an extra place to plug it in on their power strip. It is also very handy for expanding storage on laptops with small hard drives. It's small and light and you can just throw it in your laptop bag. Highly recommended.

Over the years I have bought quite a few portable external hard drives by Western Digital. They have all been great, including this one. The 2 TB space is plenty for me to store videos, music, document files, etc. Nowadays, I don't save a lot of stuff on my laptop. Everything gets saved and stored on this hard drive. It's easy to use. Just plug the USB cable into your laptop or computer's USB slot and it should be recognized immediately. It works with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, but you might as well use the USB 3.0 because the transfer speed is so much faster.

Excellent, a True Work Horse, for Repetitive, even multi-week non-stop use. This Pro-level Drive absolutely Indispensible (WD is my Brand of choice, for Hard Drives. A few years ago, (believing SDDs would be better), I'd bought a Sans Disk 500 Gb USB Drive. It crashed on me, within months. I've had to re-formormat it twice, already. Upon further Research, I've learned a n Interesting Fact: "When Hard Drives begin going bad, they still give you time to either rebuild it, and/or move the Data from it, to another. (at least, that's what I've been able to do). Conversely, according to the source I found on the Net, (a Forum), I learned that SDDs do not give give you such a warning. Such is what happened to the Sans Disk. CONCLUSION: NO SDDs for me. I'm Happy with my five (5) "Western Digital" (WD) Hard Drives I've had, over the years. I buy no other brand.

I've been using a variety of WD Easystore hard drives and they've performed just fine. As with any drive, they don't last forever, so be sure to keep at least two backups, and consider a cloud backup as well for critical files - don't put all your eggs in one basket! This one was for my Father-in-Law to back up his photos off his desktop, and it worked just fine. Not much more to say - I didn't use the backup software, just did a simple disk-to-disk copy. Recommended.

It does what it's supposed to do at a great price.

My wife shoots photography on the side. The pictures quickly fill up the hard drive on my older MacBook Pro. I bought this to help with storage while exporting/editing. It works great!
