Great Portable Hard Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this drive because I replaced my laptop with 2 internal hard drives with one that has only 1 internal drive. I wanted something with large capacity, and the new USB capabilities. I have always been partial to WD, so I was naturally inclined to look for one. I've been happy with the HDD so far. I have NOT used the auto backup software, so I can't rate that, however, I can say that the drive itself is typical WD quality.

Easy to use, light, great purchase (I bought 2)

I bought two of this instead of one big one so I can have a work one and a personal one. The only issue is I had to format it for Mac. But it wasn't hard to do. If you want one not to format I think they sell those too. On the Mac it was also really easy to partition so in one device I had 2 1TB storage units. great purchase
