Great Little Portable Drive

The only complaint I have is that it does not want to eject properly all the time. But that could also be attributed to the operating system, not necessarily this drive. I love the small footprint it takes up. It is quick, and the included cable is great. There's nothing more irritating than getting a new piece of equipment only to find out you have to go buy a cable to use it. Overall very happy with these. They make great portable storage for college kids and millenials that must archive all their selfies and videos.

Good external drive for backups

It's a typical, external, spinning-disk drive. Nothing special, but I've generally found that these drives last several years without a problem. HOWEVER, never trust that your backed up data will be there when you need it. Always have another backup -either another drive or cloud service. Just in case.
