    I use it for my mac os time machine back up. It runs on bus power and is small and light. Pretty fast read and write times. I had to use Disk Utility to reformat the drive for mac time machine use.

    I always and still wil trust the WD brand for a hard drive. Easy to use and I never had one of their Hard rives both internal and external fail on me . I have some that are 8-9 years old and working in top shape still. WD is the brand that you want for your next HDD.
