    I bought this for use with the Mac, and the software that came with it didn't work at all. Once I figured out how to just wipe it clean and reformat it, it works great. Good form factor, too.

    I use this for movie portability and it works exactly as I wanted. I have close to 400 DVD format movies written to this drive with room for more and have movie access at home and traveling using a small laptop and the VLC Media Player and having that much of my DVD "library" on one small storage drive is so much more convenient that dealing with DVD discs.
