    I have an old external hard drive that's only a 750 gig and this 2 terabyte hard drive is drastically more convenient to keep in my backpack. The narrow build and it only being the size of a standard bi-fold wallet certainly makes it indeed portable.

    Transistor radio size but 2TB of external space for videos photos, digital sheet music and downloads. Remember "if it doesn't exist in 2 places it doesn't exist". 1TB in the Desktop and 500 000 GB external hard drive also. Soft reset my desktop so it can respond faster.
