Sale price was great. Just plugged this into the USB port on the back and took less than 5 minutes to setup in the PS4 settings. I would definitely recommend this for he PS4 backup. I imagine it would be just as easy to setup on a pc or laptop.

Bought these external HDD for my nephew's after COD warzone took up a lot of their ps4 HDD. I didn't even have to walk them through on how to install the external hard drive, it was plug-and-play. Buy these you'll be happy with the purchase.

This thing works great for expanding your Xbox one memory. Plug it in, name it and let Xbox format it. Super quick to install. 2 minutes at most. So easy my 11 year old could do it. Don’t pay more for an Xbox branded drive.

Gets the job done. Included cloning software sort of works, but you will want to remove it after you no longer need it; it installs a bunch of bloatware ('System Protection') that boots on startup that gives you the option to 'disable' but as you might imagine its a feature in development; why this is included in 'Drive Cloning Software' ... yeah bloatware. Takes longer to remove than it does to clone your drives 'properly'.

Has worked well since I got it, so about 2 years. It just started to stop working as it cannot stay connected to my PC and constantly connects and then immediately disconnects. the fan also makes noises. I loved this thing, thought it would last longer but I guess its time to get a new one.
