Great drive for the price. Large compasity. I have a older WD USB drive which I used up it space and I needed a new USB drive. So I went with what I know WD drives are great

Bought the WD-Easystore 2 TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive and it was a great price-and on sale. Very easy to set up on my lap top and use.

These are easy plug and play. No need to install any software to use these. They write fast for being 3.0 and they have plenty of storage capacity.

Works better then intended. Currently using for my Xbox one for added space, it runs at a 5400 rpm with a 3.0 USB which is included. Just plug it in and your good to go.

This is my second WD external hard drive, and the name speaks for itself 'easystore'. Plug it right in and in seconds you can save or open files to/from it with ease. I use it as a video/movie backup device which are large files. I've always thought it transfers at a good speed for the price. Since I use it as a backup device, I'm not sure if it works well on TVs, but it should. I'm not sure if it can be easily password protected or not if you is something that you may want to have. Perhaps someone has already asked and answered that question. But for the purposes of just saving/opening files, it's solid.

I am a freelance Graphic Designer, and my iMac doesn't have enough space for my projects. I bought this, and it works great. I do not travel with it, because I don't want to run the risk of breaking it.

I picked this up to use with my MacBook Pro. It works with either Apple Or Windows. The hard drive is a little bit wider than a deck of cards,but not as thick. The outer case is made from plastic and there is a twelve inch cable that comes with it. Oh, there is also a little white light that tells you when it is working. It's a plug and play device. The Mac makes it easy to use and after some formatting it has been backing up the MacBook every day. If you are looking for an external storage drive this one is a good choice.
